Black Friday for China Injection Molding: not big sale but high raising price
Black Friday is big sale week for North America, unfortunately, for China injection molding, customers are facing a high raising prices due to the crazy increase of raw materials.
Mold Steel increased by 20%
Mold steels increased by 20%, which will affect tooling cost directly. However, this is not to say that China injection molding would not so cheap anymore, as the increase of the raw materials is spreading globally. If you have a mold project to go, you would have to check with your manufacturer to get the latest quote.
Plastic resin increased by about 30%
Plastic resins, no matter commodity or engineering plastics, are increased by 30% until this week. ABS, PMMA, and PVC are the 3 highest raising materials.
