Materials Matter?
Different materials make the surfaces look different. Here are some example situations you may need a specific material for your project.
Clear PC/ PMMA
If you want to select a texture that can have very strong light diffusion and reflection, the Plastopia™ transparent SPI Surface Finish Card is a great option to you.
TPE Shore A 35
Textured surfaces when molding soft polymers such as TPE or TPR don’t pick up the finishes very well.
With our TPE material card, you could test not just the right material but also the right hardness. We currently have 3 Shore A degree for your option: Shore A35/A50/A70.
PA6+30%GF
Nylon (PA6) materials with fiber can significantly impact the surface finish of the final product. If you work with a Nylon part, it would be a good idea to get a card with this material to match.
We currently provide three Nylon material, pure Nylon, Nylon with 15%GF and Nylon with 30%GF.
